While sleep apnea is a disorder very serious and progressive, it is also highly treatable in a variety of ways. How Sleep apnea is treated depends entirely on the type and cause of sleep apnea.

Obstructive sleep apnea is nature an obstruction in the airways, which inhibits breathing during sleep. For such treatments of sleep apnea may be available for some people it all depends on what is causing the obstruction.

In the case of the clinically obese, the tissues of the respiratory tract may loose due to fatty causing the airflow to become closer, which makes it difficult for air to pass. If an obese person has lost as much weight as possible, their air passages would be much more open and they breathe much easier.

Quitting smoking or drinking can also help some apnea Obstructive sleep. Smoking inflames tissue causing narrowing of the airway, while alcohol is a depressant causing muscles and tissues of the airway to relax and close.

One of the most bizarre treatments for some people with apnea Obstructive sleep plays the Australian didgeridoo instrument. “DON’T nap during the day.” This is a common piece of advice from many self-proclaiming experts offering insomnia help.

The warning goes: Daytime napping will ruin someone with insomnia of any chance from getting a good night’s sleep. In essence they’re saying, catch a nap after lunch and you’ll be counting sheep till 2 am!

I beg to differ.

Anyone who is suffering from insomnia can and should benefit from an afternoon nap.

Indeed, I’m an advocate of daytime napping. You too, can nap. Don’t just take my words. Hear what an expert says.

The thing is, napping is in our genes, as Prof. Jim Horne of Britain’s Loughborough Sleep Research Centre explains: “Humans are designed for two sleeps a day – the main one at night and a nap in the afternoon – which explains why people in the warmer parts of the world have an afternoon siesta, and why the rest of us are likely to be sleepy at this time.”

Sleep apnea happens when you hear you snoring?

The problem lasts for years but it got worse now that I works 2 jobs and I do not sleep much. I hear snoring all night and I feel I do not get enough rest because I am Half awake, I suppose. Ideas?
